Prerequisite: To enroll in this class you must be a Certified Doula, Childbirth Educator, have experience as a Labor and Delivery RN or be in the process of getting your certification from an approved doula training program.
The Advanced Doula Training (ADT) and the Childbirth Hypnotherapist Certification (CHC) offered by Dolphin Yoga & Doula Center is an excellent way to provide deeper support and knowledge to your doula clients. The 40 hour training will certify you through the Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy as a Childbirth Hypnotherapist with the ability to provide Hypnotherapy sessions to your pregnant clients and the knowledge to find the appropriate tools to help them.
Hypnosis for Childbirth is the cornerstone of our Dolphin Doula Method, and is extremely effective for assisting pregnant women at all stages of pregnancy and labor. Hypnosis for Childbirth helps the pregnant woman adjust mentally and physically to the dramatic changes happening to her body and life. As a Childbirth Hypnotherapist you can support women by using hypnosis to:
- Reduce the fear and anxiety of labor, childbirth, parenthood, and postpartum concerns
- Help your client reframe the pain associated with pregnancy and childbirth and reinforce positive sensations
- Accesses her individual and unique source of strength and calm
- Assist in reducing the severity of pregnancy issues such as, nausea, high blood pressure, pregnancy induced headaches, sleep problems and much more!
- Strengthen her bond with baby which helps facilitate parent-infant attachment after birth
- Assist in creating a gentle birth experience and positive memories
