Dana Sakal – CD
Pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting are some of life’s happiest and most memorable moments, yet they can also be interlaced with numerous challenges. To allow each family to focus on enjoying this exciting time, Dana believes that everyone should receive the support of a birth and infant care professional before, during and after childbirth.
It is Dana’s goal to use her compassion, knowledge, and love for the birth profession to help families feel empowered, cared for, and supported. Inspired by the families she works with, it is her passion to guide each one on its unique path. She has trained with Jennifer (Wolfe) More in the Dolphin Doula Method and Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga, and is currently obtaining her certification as a Postpartum Doula through DONA International.
Originally from the Peninsula, Dana resides in San Mateo with her husband and son. She holds a BA in Psychology and Business from Tel-Aviv University and a Masters in Business from MIT. Dana is excited to be pursuing her passion for helping women and families during this special time in their lives.
